At almost 4 miles long, Avenue de Daumesnil is the longest road in Paris. It joins Place de la Bastille and the Château de Vincennes. Avenue Daumesnil is partly made up of arcades known as Le Viaduc des Arts.” Many Parisians come here to enjoy a drink. Built under the former railroad between Paris and Vincennes, the arches have been entirely restored. Visitors can look through the large windows and admire the works of 50 craftsmen and artists based under the arches. An unusual sight not to be missed!
