Furnished apartment - 53m² - 1 bedroom - Tour Eiffel - Paris

We spent our honeymoon in Paris. The apartment was so much better than a hotel, we had all the convience of home that you can't get at a hotel. Plus we got to enjoy the neighborhood and all the shops that were on our block. We had a bakery, butcher, grocery, wine, coffee, pharmacy and chocolate shop on our block. Plus we had a view of the Eiffel Tower. .

A fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower and close to bus for transport. Very noisy as tourists and fraffic and restaurants are active until after 1am. When the windows are closed it is quiet, but I was there in Summer and during a heatwave and I needed the wondows open for air, I could not have the bedroom window open at night as the lights and noise from the restaurants and souvenir shop opposite were disturbing. As the apartment is on the first floor when the windows were open people in the street could see inside so there is a lack of privacy, shutters on the iwndows are needed. The smell of cooking form the restaurants immediately below, Italian under the bedroom and Chinese next to that one, and on the other side Romanian, amd the cafe on the corner permeated the apartment from early morning, 9am until late. Also the smell of the rubbish bins was apparent in the stairwell to the apartment building. The new kitchen was great and I was grateful that the instruction booklets for the appliances had been left in the apartment. The door key is extremely difficult and at times took many attempts to open the door. The living room was not very inviting and I hardly used it. I enjoy staying in Paris as it is easy to travel around France and to other European countries and The United Kingdom. There is always an exhibition, a performance or an attraction to visit. I also attend classes at Alliance Française which means I can improve my French both formally and informally. I love the food, produce and the people I meet.
