Furnished studio - 16m² - Arts et Métiers - Paris

The apartment was a wonderful home during my study abroad in Paris. The area is fantastic - close to food stores, metro and interesting boutiques. Thierry was a helpful landlord and was efficient with communication. Overall, the apartment is small but comfortable and tasteful for a single visitor. The experience was overall enjoyable.

We stayed there for days in the beginning of January 2013. Thierry is a really nice guy who made clear that he would be ready to assist us in case we needed. That was really comforting. The agency was helpful too, but the only problem was that we hadn't been informed about some characteristics of the apartment building before certain key stages of our negotiation (not that these would have made us necessarily change our minds). The thing is that not until things had been pretty much settled were we told the elevator only went up to the 4th floor and that the apartment was on the 5th - the agency let us down a bit in this point. Another thing is that they didn't tell us that the elevator had room for only one person at a time - another letdown by the agency. The apartment was a bit smaller than appeared in the photos, but it was really cozy and the location was awesome, and we were so excited about the city and our trip that we led ourselves to oversee these details. Thierry made sure to leave some fruit and water in the mini fridge, which was really thoughtful of him. He's great! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone interested in a place which grants you good cost/benefit associated with basic comfort and good location. It was mostly within expected in relation to your services. The city magical, but the area, though it's great location with easy access to the whole city, is a bit gloomy at night, especially around the Strasbourg-St. Denis station area (and also in the station). I think this should be said to tenants too.
