Furnished apartment - 75m² - 2 bedrooms - Alésia - Paris

We rented this apartment in the Montsouris quarter for a year. It's 5 minutes from the Alésia metro, 10 minutes from the RER train station at Denfert-Rochereau, and a 15 minute walk to the Montparnasse quarter). When we arrived we were astounded at how big (75 meters) and light and airy the apartment was. Being on the top floor gives us sunrise and sunset views and a stunning view of the rooftops of the 13th and 14th arrondissments. We delight in spending time on the 3-sided balcony. The apartment is completely furnished, both beds (one sofa bed) are very comfortable, the kitchen is completely outfitted, and the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet. The owner of the apartment is very kind and has immediately taken care of any problems or repairs. On the street is a fruit and veggie vendor, a papeterie, hardware store, a tabac, a dry cleaner, a butcher and a small grocery store. There are 4 or 5 patisseries close by--one just 2 doors down has (we think) the best pain céreale in Paris! There is a wonderful all-you-can-eat Japanese sushi restaurant right across the street from our building, a very good Chinese Traiteur a few shops down the street, and several excellent (and very reasonable) french cafés and brasseries just a few minutes away in Alésia. To top it off, we are minutes away from one of Paris' most beautiful parks, Parc Montsouris. This apartment is a gem. Wonderful!.
