The 7th arrondissement, on the left bank of the Seine, is considered one of Paris' most expensive areas as well as one of its most touristic, as it's home to some of Paris' most iconic monuments. The Eiffel Tower, Champ-de-Mars, École Militaire and Hôtel des Invalides (which houses Napoleon's tomb) are all found in this arrondissement, as are several iconic museums. The Musée d'Orsay, with its priceless artwork, and the Musée Rodin, with its classical French gardens, are two that call this area their home.
The 7th arrondissement of Paris is made up of the following districts: the Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin district, the Les Invalides district, the École Militaire district and the Gros-Caillou district.
The 7th arrondissement is served by the RER C as well as by metro lines 8, 10, 12 and 13.
Since the 17th century, the district has been home to Paris' upper class and aristocracy, especially in the Faubourg Saint-Germain area. Their former mansions now house many government buildings and embassies. The area is highly residential, but restaurants and shops are plentiful, too. Rue Cler is an authentic market street lined with specialty food stores, bakeries, butchers, flower shops and cafés.Your booking request cannot contain more than 5 apartments.
